Dr. Jeremy Wong

Training

Dr Wong was born in Sydney. Moving to Melbourne to undertake his medical training he graduated in 2000 and completed his anaesthesia qualifications from St Vincent's Hospital where he is involved with the training of future anaesthetists.   

Experience

Jeremy maintains a wide and varied anaesthesia practise. This includes anaesthesia for paediatric surgery, obstetrics and gastrointestinal surgery. He is particularly interested in effective strategies for treating post-operative pain with nerve blocks. Dr Wong's practise includes a large number of orthopaedic and neurosurgical operations.

Current Appointments

Dr Jeremy Wong holds an appointment at St Vincent's Public Hospital as a Anaesthesia Consultant where he is involved with teaching future medical specialists and nursing staff. He works at many private hospitals throughout Melbourne including The Epworth Hospitals, St Vincent's Private Hospitals, The Avenue, Warringal, Knox and Epworth Freemasons.


Outside Interests

Jeremy has 3 young school-age children.  Activities such as bike riding, the beach and basketball leave little time for him to get out on the golf course, but he tries his best. He has a vast Jazz library and enjoys playing piano.
